Week 2

katieinglis:

Starting the second week means I’m finally finishing the pac choi and kohlrabi, which were so big I really didn’t think I’d eat them all.  I made risotto last night for Bethany and I, and it was unusual but tasty. She’s just getting into trying new foods, so it was deemed a success when I got her to eat a plateful. Polk’s market is still the best place to find regional foods, so I rode over there on friday and Jerry filled up a bag with fruits on the house. My roommates loved that. So did I.

I’m not tired of the oranges yet, which is odd considering I never really liked oranges before. They’re so easy to peel and they’re not like the ones at the store, where sometimes you’ll get an awful dry nasty one out of nowhere. These look past they’re prime but they’re the most delicious ever, and I’m really digging it, so I keep telling Jerry and the blog too.  Unrelated, however, and should go on the other blog - Jerry keeps postponing his interview and it’s starting to worry me, ugh, so it will hopefully happen Monday.
