Getting an In
Yesterday I met an incredible person at Brighter Day and I can’t wait to interview her. I was looking at some produce, doing a little observation, and I overheard her telling someone very knowledgeably about a lot of obscure produce. When she was done, I asked her if she could tell me about the pac choi and kohlrabi I was looking at, and we had a great conversation about the city trying to make improvements, to her work with organic farms, then about the farmers markets and community garden that’s going to be happening here soon. So today’s efforts are going solely toward observations, discussion guides (psych) and compiling interview one-pagers for me. Basically I need to get a really strong handle on the things I want to learn from these experts and develop a killer outline to take with me when I speak to them this week.
